Studying abroad in Florence during the summer of 2023 was a transformative experience that profoundly impacted my personal growth and worldview. Immersing myself in Italian culture while traveling to stunning places like Ibiza, Greece, Barcelona, Cinque Terre, France, and Monaco opened my eyes to the richness of history, art, and diverse ways of life. Florence, with its incredible blend of Renaissance art and modern vibrancy, became a classroom beyond walls, where every street and museum offered lessons that deepened my appreciation for the interconnectedness of culture and history.

Traveling beyond Florence to places like Greece and Spain allowed me to step out of my comfort zone and embrace new adventures. In each destination, I was pushed to adapt to different cultures, languages, and environments, which helped me build resilience and confidence. Navigating new cities, forming friendships with people from around the world, and gaining a more global perspective were all critical parts of my journey. These experiences shaped my ability to see the world through different lenses, helping me grow as a more empathetic and culturally aware individual.
